Terms of Service

Last updated August 25, 2026

Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using NextStop ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. NextStop is provided as a convenience for checking public transit information and is not a contract for transportation.

Use of the service

NextStop displays timetables, real-time arrivals, and routing suggestions gathered from public transit agencies worldwide. You agree to use the App for personal, non-commercial travel planning and to follow all applicable laws and the rules of each transit agency you travel with. The App is not a substitute for official agency information or onboard announcements.

Transit data & third-party feeds

Arrival times and route data are sourced from official agency GTFS and GTFS-Realtime feeds, aggregated by Transitous (MOTIS). Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors and map tiles are provided by CARTO. Route names, colors, and logos belong to their respective transit agencies. NextStop is independent and not endorsed by or affiliated with any agency unless stated otherwise.

No warranty & accuracy

Transit information is provided "as is" and may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. Real-time data depends on feeds controlled by third parties and may be unavailable without notice. NextStop makes no warranty that the App will be accurate, timely, uninterrupted, or error-free. Always confirm departure boards and official agency sources before traveling.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NextStop and its contributors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including missed connections, delays, or reliance on inaccurate arrival estimates.

Changes to terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
